  BOARD MEMBER: Is nominated to serve a three (3) year term and is approved to serve by the Archbishop of New Orleans. This term can be renewed for a second (2nd) consecutive three (3) year term. Board members will have voting privileges, be required to serve on a Committee, and will be asked to financially support the Catholic Community Foundation.
  
  COMMITTEE MEMBER: Is asked to serve a one (1) year term. This term can be renewed indefinitely with the approval of the Executive Director. Committee membership is comprised of Board and Non-Board members.
  
  NON-BOARD MEMBER: Is asked to serve a one (1) year term. This term can be renewed indefinitely with the approval of the Executive Director. A Non-Board Member may serve on a Committee while not being a member of the Board of Directors.

- Committees of the Board
  
  Finance Committee: This Committee ensures that the assets/gifts of the Foundation are prudently and sensibly managed. The Committee monitors the financial condition of the Foundation and the demands placed upon it. Committee members guide the financial stewardship of the Foundation.
  
  Long-Range Planning Committee: The purpose of this Committee is to assist in setting and fulfilling the goals of the Foundation. This Committee is vital to the long-range advancement of the vision and mission of the Foundation.
  
  Donor Engagement Committee: This Committee will help to identify, evaluate, cultivate, solicit and present proposals for legacy and planned giving. Members will help establish and build sustainable relationships with individuals and within parishes, schools, and ministries to help promote the offerings of the Foundation.
  
  Nominating Committee: This Committee oversees the board member recruitment process and recommends the appointment of new members to the Board. It also recommends to the Board President the appointment of Committee members.
  
  Catholic Women in Action Committee: Catholic Women in Action is committed to educating and encouraging the role of women to enhance and sustain the charitable, educational, and spiritual ministries in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
  
  Bylaws Committee: This Committee maintains oversight of the Bylaws. This Committee is tasked to review the Bylaws annually and to suggest amendments or changes where appropriate.
  
  Northshore Chapter Committee: The Northshore Chapter serves the Archdiocesan parishes located on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain. Members will help establish and build sustainable relationships on the Northshore with individuals and with parishes, schools, and ministries to help promote the offerings of the Foundation.
