What Fund Types Can Your Clients Establish At CCF?

Charitable funds provide your clients a simple, powerful, and highly personal approach to giving. Administrative fees cover all the services donors receive when they maintain a fund with CCF. We handle the receipt and acknowledgement of contributions, as well as the processing and payment of grants. Click to view additional information about administrative fees. Our fund types include:

• Donor Advised Funds (DAFs): DAFs are charitable funds for donors seeking active involvement in grant making. Our donors advise or recommend grants from their fund to support nonprofit organizations, and our staff is available to help them discover archdiocesan and community needs.
• Scholarship Funds: Scholarships assist promising and deserving students with the costs of their education. They may be established to honor or memorialize friends, teachers, family members, or other loved ones. Scholarships may also be provided to offset the cost of student travel to conferences, competitions, or other educationally enhancing experiences organized through their school. An individual, a corporation, or a group of people, such as an alumni association, may establish these funds. 
• Endowment Funds: These funds hold assets to ensure the future of an organization and its work. Endowment funds can be established by a donor to benefit a single or multiple organizations through the annual distribution.
• Additionally, donors may make unrestricted gifts to the Catholic Community Foundation at any time. These enable the CCF’s response to the Catholic community’s changing needs and emergencies.
