Wayne's late wife, Nancy, dedicated her life to serving as the school secretary at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic School because she was passsionate about helping children receive a quality education. After her untimely death, Wayne and their two daughters, Mary and Meredith, established a scholarship through the Catholic Community Foundation. Now, students like Lucy (pictured holding her award) are supported through a scholarhsip that honors Nancy's legacy.

By supporting the effort to build a digital guestbook, we hope to expand St. Louis Cathedral’s network of benefactors. Giving through the Catholic Community Foundation affords us the opportunity to provide our treasured icon with state-of-the-art technology that reaches our community and beyond.

The LeBlanc Memorial Donor Advised Fund
When I set up my Donor Advised Fund with the Catholic Community Foundation, it made financial sense; however, giving through the foundation means much more. I give to organizations that speak to me, fulfill the Church’s teachings, and honor the legacies of my mother and late husband. I feel connected to the Catholic community when I answer His call to touch the hearts and souls of others.

The Little Church in the Woods
Our founding pastor established St. Joachim Church as a place for families to gather and worship God. After his passing, we came together to renew our faith community in his original vision—vibrant and alive. The Catholic Community Foundation’s stewardship and development support has helped our “Little Church in the Woods” be a light along the bayou, dispelling darkness and leading others to Christ.

The Stan and Judy Salathe Fund
In understanding the importance of pre-planning in our lives, we decided to form a Donor Advised Fund at the Catholic Community Foundation. The Catholic community in New Orleans is our lifeline, and through it our faith is strengthened. By making gifts through our fund to support the young men at Notre Dame Seminary on their journeys to become priests, we hope to sustain our community for future generations.

Southern Dominican Province, USA
As Dominicans, the Order of Preachers, we realize that evangelization is urgent. In setting up the Province’s general portfolio with the Catholic Community Foundation (CCF), we are able to spread the gospel with the confidence that our operating funds are well managed. Our relationship with and trust in CCF allows us to continue our ministry and make an impact in our Church and city.
